Pride Month was magical! 🌈✨

From karaoke nights to picnics and open mic performances, the Culsh queer community came together to celebrate identity, creativity, and friendship.

Highlights

• Queer Karaoke brought out over 50 singers
• Board games and trivia nights introduced new community connections
• Our Pride Picnic in the park had live music and artisan stalls

We’re launching a Queer Wellness Workshop Series focused on mental health, self-care, and community connection 🌿💜

Workshops will cover meditation, journaling, stress management, and other techniques designed for queer folks.

All workshops are free and take place at The Lavender Lantern . RSVP encouraged but not required.

Our community’s creativity is on display! 🎨✨

The Queer Art Exhibition will feature artwork from local queer artists and hobbyists — paintings, digital art, photography, and mixed media. The exhibition celebrates diverse voices and perspectives within Culsh’s queer community.

Exciting news! 📚 The Culsh Queer Book Club is forming.

Our first meeting will focus on a queer-themed novel (title to be announced). All queer identities are welcome, including allies who respect the space. Discussions will be relaxed, inclusive, and supportive.

🌟 How to Participate

• Meetings will be monthly at The Lavender Lantern
• Bring your own copy of the book or borrow from a local library
• Snacks and drinks will be provided

Settle in with a blanket and your favorite snack — Queer Movie Night returns to The Lavender Lantern 🎬🏳️‍🌈

Each month, we screen a queer film or series episode, followed by an optional, low-pressure discussion. Talking is encouraged, silence is respected.

• Accessibility: Subtitles provided whenever possible
• Discussion: Optional and gently facilitated

• A queer book club is forming in Culsh — announcements coming soon
• Plans are underway for a spring queer picnic
• We’re collecting suggestions for future movie nights (romance, horror, docs, camp — all welcome!)
